I’ve missed out on a few events lately due to one thing and another so I was delighted to have a free Saturday morning to attend Victoria Squares first Spring fashion tea. I could not think of a better way to spend a lazy saturday morning sipping tea, indulging in cupcakes and sitting back enjoying a fabulous catwalk show with some of my blogger buddies and our own lovely guest blogger Diane (who’ll tell you all about her first blogger event experience below). All in all we had an absolute blast, so for any of you who didn’t manage to make it down you can read all about it and check out the pics below
I absolutely love a bargain, who doesn’t?! But in the land of fashion it’s not just price that makes an item of clothing a bargain, it’s when said pieces are bang on trend and perfect for building that seasonal capsule wardrobe. You can imagine my excitement then when I stumbled on to the George website and found lots of fashion fabulous bargains covering many of this seasons biggest trends. I’ve picked out some of my favourite pieces below to show you exactly what I mean! Yay to a new wardrobe without breaking the bank!
One of the best things about the new season is the opportunity to buy new season fashion. Agreed? With that in mind I wanted to share with you some of the fab collections Fairhill Shopping Centre in Ballymena has in store now to inject some zing into your spring wardrobe. Fancy a peak?
‘She used to be my only enemy and never let me free ….. Never thought you would become the friend I never had.’
Recognise the lyrics? Well depending on your musical era and preference you’ll either be staring at this page blankly or alternatively be screaming ‘It’s the Spice Girls song Mama’. If it’s the latter I salute you (90s Girl power and all that), though if it’s the former please don’t tune out because believe it or not, I think we can all learn something from this Spice Girls tune.
Following on from my recent post on the 90′s style revival, one particular item of clothing has continued to further strengthen its position as one of this season’s must have items among the fashion glitterati. Yip the bomber jacket has certainly cemented its stylish prowess and with its ever growing popularity and availability in an array of colours, patterns and textures, there’s a style to suit even the most discerning fashionista.
I am fully on the chubby stick bandwagon. They offer the perfect mixture of moisture and colour. Keeping lips in great condition while looking fabulous. There are lots of different chubbys out there to choose from and I’ve tried my fair few but I think I’ve finally found my perfect chubby partner.
Step into spring with Parfois, clad in must have shoes, amazing bags, timeless watches and much more. The multi faceted collections – Jungle, Nautical, Party, Pink & Stripes and Red & Black have something for every stylish walk of life. Parfois brings runway fashion to the high street in 2014. If you’re not overally familiar with Parfois never fear, that’s probably due to the fact that there are still no stores in Northern Ireland but you can find them on-line or in Limerick, Cork and Dublin! Definitely worth a nosey and extremely reasonably priced! So with that said, here’s a sneak peak at the Spring 2014 collection.
Plus a Vinylux polishes giveaway!
The night out is planned….babysitter booked ( if necessary)…..next priority YOU!
Here are a few of my top products that I love on a night out to help me feel and look my best.
The 90′s Revival means comfy chic is this season’s winning combination! Double yaay!
Sports luxe was a huge trend for SS13 and it’s set to make a return in SS14 with a 90′s revival twist. Yes, not only is the laid back sports look getting the stylista seal of approval once again this season but it’s taking more influence from the decade we all once looked back to with one eye closed as we cringed at the outfits in the photographs. Don’t get me wrong I love the 90′s, but if you had of told me two years ago I’d have trainers, brash slogan jumpers, bomber jackets and tartan patterns (paying homage to clueless), at the top of my fashion wishlist.. well let’s just say I’d be more than a little surprised.
