Tis the season to be jolly, falalalala lalalala.
Naw – in my opinion when it comes to festivities it’s never to early! Ok, so it might not be time to put up the tree just yet but I think it’s definitely ok to be getting our Christmas prep on right about now. I absolutely adore Christmas and glamming up for the party season. So, when I was given the opportunity to take part in the Marisota, 12 Nails of Christmas blogger challenge, I was trés excited to get creative! The challenge involved myself and 11 other bloggers coming up with some funky festive nail art ideas to carry you fashionably through the Christmas period. Now, I’m far from a nail pro but I figured most of us aren’t, so below are my simple designs to hopefully inspire you to give your nails a holiday makeover .
Yip – no longer are ‘fake’ slogan tees and jumpers the embarrassment of the fash pack. This year fashion lovers are embracing the tongue and cheek play on some of the worlds most high-end brands from Hermés and Celine to Gucci and more. Celebs in particular have really jumped on this trend bandwagon with the catwalk’s leading lady, Cara Delevingne and Nicola Roberts spotted donning the look.
Hi lovelies – sorry this one has taken a couple of days to get up but I was off on a little Halloween spa break for some much needed chilling out. Anyways, I know some of you are ultra keen to hear all about the latest weightloss phenomenon that’s taking the beauty world by storm so I won’t delay any further. Last wednesday evening I visited one of my favourite beauty haunts in NI – Natural Beauty in Lisburn. It’s a favourite of mine for two reasons, the staff are the friendliest I’ve ever come across, the service is fabulous and they always seem to have the latest and greatest treatments and products to try before anywhere else…. ok so that’s technically three reasons but I’m not in the habit of rewriting parts of my blog when I’m in my review spieling state of mind
Anywho, the purpose for my visit was to experience for myself the beauty wrap that has beauty bloggers blowing and social media in a tizzy. Yip, I have heard a lot said about The Minimi Wrap in recent weeks, but since I’m not a gal who’s easily impressed, I decided to put minimi to the Yellowest Diamonds test.
I’ve been totally overwhelmed at the amount of interest you guys have had in my juice detox experience. My inbox has been flooded with your questions and queries so I wanted to get this post up as quick as possible! Now I’m not going to say it was easy because I love my food but it was much more do-able than I first thought and I was more than chuffed with the results
So it’s a Saturday morning and I don’t know about you guys but for me after working all week it screams SHOPPING TIME! So last saturday after a nice little lie in, I grabbed some breakfast, made myself presentable and headed into town. Now, as I’m trying to save at the minute I was very good and only allowed myself to purchase from the sale rails (Such a martyr I know). Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised with what was on offer so I thought I’d share with you my purchases
Pioneering the vintage way since 2008, Ireland’s longest running vintage fair, Frock Around the Clock, will be celebrating 5 fabulous years of vintage events at their next fair taking place on Sunday 3rd November at Malone House, Belfast. AND as a huge fan of the fairs, the lovely people from Frock Around the Clock have given me a pair of tickets to give-away to one of you lovelies!
Brrrr the autumn is certainly here and the chilly mornings and colder weather is definitely upon us booooo. I actually don’t mind the crispness to be fair, so long as I’m properly dressed, plus this seasons trends have me very excited! So with my current wardrobe failing to offer any inspiration and given that it’s still two weeks to pay day, I set out to nab some new wardrobe bargains.
With a noticeable chill in the air, now is the time to start looking for a new season wardrobe. However, if you don’t know the difference between a slit skirt and midi, pleather, high shine or PVC, help is at hand from Fairhill Shopping Centre. Tonight, Tuesday October1st, the Centre is having a ‘Ladies Lock-in’ event from 6-9pm. The VIP event will offer female customers up to 25% off in participating stores, free beauty treatments, sweets treats, speciality cocktails and goody bags. What’s not to like!
Hi lovelies! Hope you are all keeping well and wrapping up warm as we say ta-ra to the summer – booooooo! To be fair I quite like autumn as a season – as long as I’m dressed for it and with some of the amazing trends for aw13 I’m actually excited for it. The one thing I dislike about the colder weather however is how it affects my lips. They get so dry and chapped and need plenty of moisturisation. Problem is I love a bit of colour on my lips and have struggled to find a lip balm that effectively offers both… until now!
